SUMMARY
A grassroots effort to bring attention to one of most prolific crimes of our time: Human Trafficking. Their need was simple, to create a website which would not only provide information to highlight the severity of the crime, but also to be able to capture and engage an audience visually, as well as contextually.
Wordpress was deployed as the organization’s CMS platform. A custom-built carousel was developed to meet their requirement of displaying images, html content, as well as embedded videos. A custom-built secondary menu system was integrated to accomodate for better navigation. The concept of a landing page with icons and blurbs was deployed to clean up previously text-heavy pages.
